Yes. Storms that come down the valley do real damage, so if you have water inside at Kempsey, Frederickton or the coast villages, ring us immediately and we will get out to make the roof safe and watertight as our first job.
Often repair, believe it or not. Heritage terracotta and slate were built to be maintained, and if the timber and most of the surface are sound, careful repair work keeps the original roof going for years. Where decay has gone too far we will tell you plainly and lay out what replacement involves.
Always. A couple of tiles at West Kempsey or a stubborn drip at Gladstone is a normal day for us, not a nuisance. Small faults fixed promptly are precisely how you avoid the big invoices later.
Worn details rather than weather. Floodplain humidity, mould and the valley’s summer heat all break down pointing, seals and flashings, and once a detail fails even drizzle or heavy dew can work through it. An inspection finds the failed point instead of guessing.
