Yes. Valley heat chalks metal roofing faster than most coastal weather does. We pressure-clean the chalk and any lichen right off, treat rust spots, then apply a new primer and topcoat so the roof holds its colour properly again.
If the sheeting is still structurally sound, yes. The big storms that roll down the Macleay tend to expose weak flashings, valleys and loose fasteners, and all of those are repaired and resealed as part of the restoration. If the damage goes deeper than that, David will say so plainly at the assessment.
Typically it is a fraction of the cost of replacement, though your roof’s size, condition and access decide the exact number. The assessment is free and the quote is written, so you can weigh it up without pressure.
Properly prepared and coated, the roof typically stays protected for many years despite the inland heat. As a Dulux Acra-Tex accredited applicator, David uses a metal-grade primer and UV-resistant Dulux topcoat built for exactly these conditions.
