Very professonal, very punctual. Did a great job we would definitely recommend.
Roof Cleaning You Can Trust in Tuncurry
On the north side of the channel, Tuncurry faces the long run of Nine Mile Beach and takes the easterlies head on. That constant sea air leaves a salt film across the tiles, and David washes it back off safely, from Tuncurry up through Hallidays Point and Diamond Beach.

Nine Mile Beach Salt Dulling Your Tuncurry Roof?
Tuncurry runs right along Nine Mile Beach, so the wind carries salt straight off the surf and onto the roofs behind it. Unlike a sheltered inland street, a beachfront town gets very little relief, and that steady coating of salt dulls the colour and slowly breaks down the paint film beneath it. The older brick homes and unit blocks around the town centre wear it first, usually on the faces that see the least sun.
North of the bridge the newer estates at Hallidays Point, Diamond Beach and Black Head sit even more exposed, copping the full easterly weather off the water. A thorough clean strips the salt and growth before they set in, and it brings a tired-looking roof back close to how it started.
How We Clean Your Roof
A thorough clean built for Tuncurry's beachfront salt load and the exposed estates strung along the northern strip.
Soft washing or measured high pressure depending on the roof, set to strip the heavy salt film that Nine Mile Beach lays down without wearing away the coating.
Shaded and southern roof faces around Tuncurry hold moss and lichen in the damp coastal air. We clear the growth and treat the surface so it is slower to take hold again.
Blocked gutters get emptied and flushed, which matters on the older unit blocks near the town centre where overflowing water finds its way behind the fascia.
From a tiled cottage in Tuncurry to Colorbond on a new build at Diamond Beach or Hallidays Point, every common roof material is cleaned safely, terracotta and metal alike.
Rusting valleys, lifted ridge capping and cracked tiles get flagged while we are on the roof, so the wear that beachfront salt causes is spotted before it leaks.
Every clean runs off proper height-safety gear and secure anchor points, so two-storey homes and the exposed roofs out at Black Head are cleaned safely, with no damage.

Roof Cleaning FAQs
Answers to the questions we get asked most.
Most single-storey Tuncurry homes are done inside a day, sometimes half a day if the roof is small and the growth is light. Larger or heavily soiled roofs, and the bigger homes out on the northern estates, can run a little longer. David gives you a realistic time frame with the quote.
Right on Nine Mile Beach the salt load is heavier than it is a few streets inland, so a clean every couple of years keeps the worst of it off. Homes set back from the water can usually stretch it out longer. We give you an honest read on your own roof rather than a blanket schedule.
Yes. We regularly clean the newer homes at Hallidays Point, Diamond Beach and Black Head, which sit fully exposed to the easterly weather. Those Colorbond and tiled roofs collect salt and grime quickly, and a clean brings the colour back and slows the wear that the coastal air causes.
We can, and it is worth doing in the one visit. A roof wash sends loosened moss and grit into the gutters, so clearing and flushing them straight afterwards leaves the whole system draining cleanly. Mention it when you book and it goes into the same quote.
It depends on the roof. Soft washing suits older tiles and delicate coatings because it lifts growth with low pressure and the right solution rather than force. Sound, sturdier roofs can take controlled high pressure. David chooses the method that clears your roof without risking the surface.
