Yes. Forster itself plus Green Point, Coomba Park, Pacific Palms, Booti Booti and Smiths Lake are all part of David’s regular run through the southern Great Lakes.
Forster gets a double hit. Salt drifts in off the beaches while the air over Wallis Lake stays humid, and that combination settles in the gutter trough and eats unprotected steel quickly. Colorbond’s bonded coating is made for this kind of exposure, so it is our standard replacement material.
Usually it is leaf litter from nearby trees blocking the flow, guttering that is too small for the roof, or the fall being wrong. Homes near Booti Booti and Pacific Palms see the debris problem often. A correctly sized Colorbond replacement set at the right angle fixes all three.
Yes, and that is how we prefer to do it. The downpipes are renewed with the guttering, and the fascia is checked and any rotten timber repaired while everything is open and accessible.
