Are your gutters past their best?
A big slice of Port Macquarie went up in the seventies and eighties, and the brick-and-tile streets through Westport and towards Shelly Beach are full of gutters that have been hanging on since the house was built. Along the beach strips at Town Beach, Flynns and Lighthouse Beach the salt haze never lets up, and it finds every scratch and seam in forty-year-old steel guttering.

On the strips near Town Beach and Lighthouse Beach, unprotected steel guttering can rust through years earlier than the same product inland. That is the reason every replacement we fit is Colorbond, which is made for salt exposure.
Quite likely. Water coming over the front edge in an east coast low points to blockages, undersized guttering or a fall that has sagged out of line. A new correctly specified Colorbond system deals with all three.
