Is the Roof Letting Your Manning Valley Home Down?
The Manning Valley is hard on roof paint in two completely different ways. Typically 10 to 15 years or more from the Dulux Acra-Tex systems we apply, provided the preparation is done properly. Exposed coastal roofs at Old Bar and Manning Point wear faster than sheltered ones in town, and David will tell you where your roof sits before you commit.
Both, and the protection matters more. The membrane seals tiles against the damp that hangs over the river flats, sheds water cleanly and can reflect summer heat if you choose a lighter shade. The fresh look is the bonus on top.
It can. Steel needs its own preparation and a coating made specifically for metal, which is part of the Acra-Tex range we are accredited to use. Applied correctly it restores colour and adds a protective layer over sheets that have started to dull.
David brings the Dulux Acra-Tex colour card out to the house so you can hold shades against the brick and trim. Heritage homes in Wingham often suit deeper traditional colours, while lighter shades reflect heat better, and we will walk you through the trade-offs.
