Very professonal, very punctual. Did a great job we would definitely recommend.
Let Your Roof Space Breathe By The Lake
All Pro Roofing installs whirlybirds, solar fans and eave vents throughout Forster, Green Point, Coomba Park and Pacific Palms, drawing trapped heat and lake moisture out of the cavity so lakeside houses and holiday homes stay comfortable right through the Great Lakes summer.

Lakeside Living, But A Roof Space That Cannot Breathe
Forster sits with the ocean on one shoulder and Wallis Lake on the other, and both feed damp air into the roof cavity all year round. On the older brick veneer homes and unit blocks around town the pitch is shallow, so that moist air has nowhere to rise to and simply lingers above the ceiling.
The holiday homes at Pacific Palms, Coomba Park and Smiths Lake add another layer. A house shut up between stays lets heat and humidity build for weeks on end, soaking into insulation and rafters. The tree canopy near Booti Booti National Park keeps southern roof faces shaded and slow to dry, which only helps the damp settle. Steady airflow turns the cavity over whether the owners are home or away.
Ways We Keep The Air Turning Over
Thirty years on the tools means David can walk a lakeside cottage at Green Point or a two-storey home at Pacific Palms and know at a glance which vents will actually shift the air.
The breeze off Wallis Lake and the ocean keeps these spinning, extracting hot cavity air without drawing any power. They suit the majority of Forster and Green Point roofs.
A driven fan moves far more air than a passive vent can, and it keeps pulling even when the lake sits still. A sensible choice for larger Pacific Palms homes and shallow-pitch roofs.
Intakes along the eaves paired with outlets at the ridge wash fresh air across the whole cavity, from edge to peak, so nothing sits stagnant overnight.
Salt air and lake humidity condense inside a still roof space and feed mould in the insulation and framing. Keeping the air moving is what stops the damp from settling in the first place.
David inspects the cavity before he quotes, tracing where the air moves now and where it stalls, so the vents suit your actual Forster roof rather than a standard package.
Every vent is flashed and sealed into the tiles or sheeting the right way, which counts for a lot on the low-pitch lakeside roofs where pooling water finds any weak penetration.

Roof Ventilation FAQs
Answers to the questions we get asked most.
Forster and the surrounding Great Lakes villages, taking in Green Point, Coomba Park, Pacific Palms, Booti Booti and Smiths Lake. Tile roofs and metal roofs are both no trouble.
Heat builds in the roof cavity through the day and keeps radiating down through the ceiling well after sunset, so the top floor holds that warmth into the evening. Venting the hot air out of the cavity is the cheapest way to take the edge off and it lightens the load on your air conditioning.
They often do. With ocean salt on one side and lake humidity on the other, Forster roof cavities take in plenty of moisture, and in still air it condenses onto the timber and insulation. Ventilation keeps that air turning over so the damp has no chance to gather.
A shallow roof holds less air and gets less natural draught, so it can run hotter than you would expect. Depending on the access and the roof size, David will often lean towards a solar fan rather than a whirlybird, since it keeps extracting when the breeze off the lake dies away. He assesses each roof on its own merits.
No charge at all. David checks through the roof space, recommends what genuinely suits it, and leaves you a written quote to weigh up in your own time.
