Very professonal, very punctual. Did a great job we would definitely recommend.
Steel for the Northern Beaches Strip
Tuncurry holds the north bank of the channel, a quieter working town that opens straight onto Nine Mile Beach and the run of coast heading up toward Taree. All Pro Roofing replaces failed tile and metal roofs with new Colorbond steel across Tuncurry, Hallidays Point, Diamond Beach and the northern strip, and David has serviced this side of the water since 2005.

Is Your Tuncurry Roof Worth Repairing Any More?
Tuncurry faces the open ocean with little between the houses and the water. Homes along and behind Nine Mile Beach cop salt-laden air straight off the surf, and that steady spray works into the laps and fixings of the older brick veneer homes and unit blocks around town until the metal gives up and the tiles go brittle. The low-pitch roofs on many of those unit blocks make it worse, because water that cannot run off fast enough sits, pools and eventually finds a seam.
Head north to the newer estates at Diamond Beach, Hallidays Point and Black Head and the exposure only sharpens. Those homes sit right in the path of the easterly weather rolling in off the Tasman, with no lake or hill to soften it, so roofs age fast out there. Inland at Nabiac and up the highway at Failford and Bulahdelah the salt eases off, but leaf litter and damp still shorten a tired roof’s life. Once rust has run along the sheet laps or tiles have gone porous, replacement beats another patch. A new Colorbond roof, laid at the right pitch with coastal-grade fixings, drains clean and seals tight.
What the Re-Roof Covers
Whether it is a unit block in the middle of Tuncurry, a beachfront estate at Diamond Beach or an older timber place out at Bulahdelah, the job runs the same way: old roof off, frame checked, complete Colorbond system on.
Coming off concrete tile onto steel removes tonnes from the structure, which matters on the older brick veneer homes and unit blocks through Tuncurry.
Sheeting, ridge capping, flashings and gutters go on as a single sealed package over new sarking, which is exactly what a low-pitch roof near Nine Mile Beach needs to stop water sitting and creeping in.
No cracked tiles to chase after every easterly off the ocean, and no lichen creeping across the shaded pitch. A Colorbond roof on the northern strip just needs the odd rinse.
Every Colorbond colour is available, from coastal pales that suit the Diamond Beach and Hallidays Point estates to deep greys, and each includes the Thermatech finish that reflects the summer heat.
We strip and remove the existing roof as part of the job, keeping the house weatherproofed between stages so an easterly rolling in off the Tasman cannot catch it open.
You get one fixed written price for the whole replacement, from stripping the old roof through to the final flashing, with no allowances left vague.

Colorbond Roof Replacement FAQs
Answers to the questions we get asked most.
Tuncurry and the whole northern strip, including Hallidays Point, Diamond Beach, Black Head, Nabiac, Failford and out to Bulahdelah. David covers the lot and the first roof assessment costs nothing.
It does. Homes along and behind Nine Mile Beach sit in the path of salt-laden air straight off the surf, and that spray corrodes old metal roofs at the fixings and breaks down tile coatings faster than roofs a few streets back. Colorbond steel is engineered for Australian coastal exposure, and David matches the material grade to how exposed your home is.
Many are. Those estates sit right in the easterly weather with no lake or hill to soften it, so roofs there age faster than their years suggest. If the sheeting is fading, the fixings are rusting or the ridge capping is lifting, a full Colorbond replacement will usually outlast another round of repairs. David can tell you which way to go once he has been up for a look.
It depends on the roof: its size, its pitch, the access and what is coming off it. Prices typically fall in a range rather than a set figure, so David measures the home in person and gives you a free written quote you can hold as long as you like. Any figure before that is only a rough guide.
Yes. Inland at Nabiac, Failford and up the highway at Bulahdelah the salt eases off, but leaf litter and damp still wear out a tired roof. David checks the frame and battens on those older timber places before laying new Colorbond, so the roof goes on over sound structure. The inspection and written quote are free out there too.
