Very professonal, very punctual. Did a great job we would definitely recommend.
Roof Restoration Done Properly
Restoring a roof means sorting the repairs, stripping back the grime and sealing everything under a new membrane, and that is what David delivers across the Camden Haven, from Laurieton and Dunbogan up through Kew and Kendall.

Is Your Camden Haven Roof Overdue for Attention?
Under the big trees of the Camden Haven, a roof collects more than rain. Leaf litter from the gums over Laurieton and Kendall banks up in the valleys and gutters, holding moisture against the tiles long after a shower has passed, and moss follows wherever the litter sits. Meanwhile the ridge mortar dries out and cracks, and when North Brother Mountain funnels a storm onto the towns below, water finds every one of those weak points at once.
None of that means the roof is finished. If the tiles and frame are still sound, a restoration clears the growth, repairs the faults and seals the lot under a fresh coating, for far less than the cost of tearing everything off and starting again.
The Six Stages of a Restoration
David plans each restoration around what the inspection turns up, though nearly every Camden Haven roof moves through these six stages.
Before quoting, David checks the tiles, capping, valleys and flashings, and under the heavy tree cover around Kendall and Kew he looks hardest at the valleys where leaf litter traps moisture. The price arrives in writing.
Cracked tiles are replaced and slipped ones reset, along with any tree-shaded sections that constant damp has worked on, before sealing starts.
The wash strips away years of leaf stains, moss and lichen that shaded Camden Haven pitches accumulate, leaving bare, sound tile for the coating.
Ridge caps are re-bedded where the old mortar has let go, then finished with flexible pointing that holds firm when North Brother sends a blow through Laurieton.
An anti-fungal treatment kills the growth right down to the spore, essential on roofs that sit in shade for half the day, before the primer goes on.
Dulux Acra-Tex membrane coats in your chosen colour complete the job, giving homes from North Haven to Bonny Hills a finish that stands up to the damp coastal air.
Our Roof Restoration Process
Our restorations finish with the Dulux Acra-Tex membrane system, applied under the accreditation we hold. On a cleaned and primed roof it keeps its grip through the shade, damp and funnelled storms that Camden Haven homes live with.

Roof Restoration FAQs
Answers to the questions we get asked most.
Almost always, provided the structure underneath is still sound. A restoration keeps the roof you own and renews the parts that have worn, while a replacement pays to remove and rebuild everything. For the cottages and brick veneer homes around Laurieton and Kew, restoring typically comes in at a fraction of the price and the result looks close to new.
Allow a few days for a typical home, though the size of the roof, the repairs it needs and the weather all shift the schedule. Coatings cure best on dry surfaces, and heavily shaded roofs under the district’s tall trees can take a little longer to dry out between stages. Your quote from David includes a realistic timeframe.
Ten to fifteen years is the usual range, and the premium coatings we apply often push past it. Humidity off Queens Lake and the river does encourage regrowth on shaded pitches, so an occasional wash-down helps a roof at Kendall or Lakewood reach the top of that range.
In most cases, yes. Age on its own is no barrier, and plenty of the district’s older tile and metal roofs restore beautifully. What rules a roof out is condition: tiles crumbling right through, heavy structural movement or sheeting rusted past saving. David inspects first and tells you plainly which category yours falls into.
Usually they do, because the common culprits here, blocked valleys, cracked ridge pointing and worn flashings, are all put right during the repair stage before any coating is applied. The fault gets fixed rather than covered. If a leak traces back to something structural instead, David raises it with you before going further.
